As I write this, I’m on the plane back to Boston (where I go to school) from Vegas (where I just did a show for a corporation retreat at the Four Seasons. Last night I slept in a suite overlooking the Las Vegas Strip 39 stories high and tonight I’ll be sleeping in my dorm room. Last weekend I was sleeping in a beach resort on the coast of Florida, and this weekend I’ll be in a cheap hotel in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania. All of this travelling is for me to do magic tricks… and believe me when I tell you that I believe I’m the luckiest guy in the world.
I figured that for my debut post, I would start broad and compile a list of 10 lessons and tips that I’ve learned and picked up throughout my years of travel and hundreds of shows. I’ve picked these 10 points in hopes that other performers and producers can learn and benefit! I am by no means an expert on any of this… these are things that a student (myself) has learned.
